Who am I?
I was born and raised in Drenthe and I think that's something to be proud of!
This is where I feel at home. Together with my husband, cat and dog I live in Emmen. In the weekends I prefer to spend time with our two daughters (and their families) who live in Groningen.
After working for many years at a banking institution, I am now going to focus on the businesses in Drenthe. There are many interesting entrepreneurs with great future plans and/or innovative ideas. I would like to play a role in that. Making companies in Drenthe stronger!
I have experience with funding issues and am also a shareholder of our family business in the infra sector. This has existed for 88 years.
What am I doing?
I am an Advisor at Ik Ben Drents Ondernemer. I help Drenthe entrepreneurs prepare their questions in the areas of growth, innovation, funding, internationalization and subsidies and connect them with the right networks.
As part of a strong and ambitious team, I help entrepreneurs not only address their existing issues, but also look forward to the future. We believe in a Drenthe where entrepreneurs are more strongly connected with each other, government and education. These connections stimulate economic growth and innovation in our region. Alone you may go faster, but together you get much further.
Whatever the challenge, we stand beside the entrepreneur. We too can say, "I am Drents Entrepreneur."
