My name is Michael Toxopeus. I am 29 years old and grew up in the far north, in Delfzijl. During my studies I lived in Groningen and since last year I moved to Hoogezand, where I live with my girlfriend.
I first studied Real Estate & Real Estate Administration at the Hanzehogeschool. Then I obtained the Masters in International Financial Management at the RUG and International Banking & Investment Management at the University of Dundee (Scotland). After this I started working at an accountancy firm in Groningen, where I worked for about 2 years.
Since October 2024, I joined NOM as an Investment Analyst. Here I want to contribute with my knowledge and experience to the economic, social and sustainable development of the Northern Netherlands. I want to achieve this by supporting innovative entrepreneurs in their growth process.
In my spare time I like to be active. I can be found in the gym several times a week and I like to walk and cycle. I also enjoy watching series and movies and visiting foreign cities.
