Lilian Hoiting

Born and raised in the province of Groningen and moved to the city itself for studies.

From an early age I was active in equestrian sports, both recreationally and at competition level. During my studies I temporarily made the switch and went dancing, but the love for horses has always remained. After a few years I picked up this passion again and still enjoy it to the fullest. I also left city life behind me. Nowadays I live in a cozy village again!

My career started in business services after a switch from the beauty industry. I took a secretarial course and gained experience in various industries after this.

I have been working at NOM since the beginning of 2018, where after an internal growth step I fulfill my current role as HR assistant.
HR is a crucial link within any organization: it connects employer and employee and contributes to achieving organizational goals. The field is broad and dynamic, allowing for continuous learning and development.

In my role, I deal with personnel processes, from administration to organization, by acting as the organizational hub. This includes recruitment and selection, onboarding and coordinating a variety of processes and components within the HR field. It is not for nothing that I often hear that I am a real "rule-boy. This is a quality that comes in handy in my work.
