Enatom is a startup, a spin-out from the UMCG, that specializes in developing advanced 3d visualizations focused on human autonomy. Their mission is to make detailed anatomical knowledge accessible worldwide. In recent years, they have been working hard on a "virtual cutting room," a web application that they use to help bridge the gap between theory and practice.

What problem were you trying to solve when you approached NOM?

To further develop and scale up the "virtual cutting room," we contacted several investors, including NOM. We like the fact that a financier is also literally close by. Moreover, I had good experiences with NOM and knew that they have an eye for the long term and the importance for the region.

How have our services impacted your business?

In several European countries, thousands of students and healthcare professionals are already using Enatom. But we also want to make an impact elsewhere in the world. The investment by NOM irrevocably contributes to achieving that goal. In short, it has ensured that we can actually take the desired steps.

Can you describe your experience working with NOM?

Regardless of funding, they were always willing to help us further. Always as an equal partner. Equivalence is also what we look for in an investor. After all, NOM also needs us. It was the basis for a fine cooperation and a very nice result.

Would you recommend our services to others and if so, what would you say?

Of course. First and foremost, NOM is an expert and accessible party with a large and valuable network. But above all, NOM is a true supporter of promising northern companies. You really start to notice that when you work with them.
