NOM invests in Build4Performance (B4P), a producer of high-tech racing simulators. The investment is aimed at supporting and accelerating the international expansion and technological innovation of the fast-growing company from the northern Netherlands. The transaction came about under the guidance of acquisition advisor Marktlink.
Since its founding in 2018, Build4Performance has shown strong annual growth. The company develops and produces racing simulators entirely in-house in the Netherlands. This working method allows the company to respond quickly to technological developments and guarantee short supply lines, resulting in high quality. B4P's simulation solutions find their way to both professional and recreational users, in a strongly growing market worldwide.
B4P has a shareholder structure with six participants, including former Formula 1 driver Robert Doornbos. With the entry of NOM, two angel investors are transferring part of their shares. NOM has stepped in to support B4P's international growth plans and contribute to strengthening the regional knowledge economy. The combination of capital and strategic guidance will enable B4P to further scale up its proven concept, tap new markets and increase its innovation capacity.
Robert Doornbos, shareholder and ambassador of B4P: "NOM's entry is a wonderful step in the growth of Build4Performance. As a former racing driver, I know how important it is to invest in the right technology to improve performance. With NOM as a partner, we can take our innovative racing simulators to a global stage. I look forward to accelerating together and achieving new successes."
Martijn van der Woord, CEO of B4P adds: "NOM's investment enables us to accelerate our international growth strategy. In addition to capital, NOM brings valuable expertise that will help us further develop our technology and enter new markets. This partnership gives us the clout to strengthen our position as a leading manufacturer of racing simulators internationally."

Alexander Draaijer, investment manager at NOM: "B4P operates in an interesting niche market with global potential. These types of companies not only provide high-quality employment and export growth, but also fit well with our focus on digitalization, sustainability and future-proof business activity in the Northern Netherlands."
Vincent Pastoor partner at Marktlink: "B4P is at a crucial tipping point: the basis for success has been laid, but capital and knowledge are needed to enter the next growth phase. With NOM's expertise, B4P gets the right partner to increase its international visibility and take the company to the next level. There were many interested parties. In the end the choice fell on NOM because of their specific experience with international growth management and regional involvement."
