Laurens Nijp

Hello, I am Laurens, a proud native of Groningen. My psychology studies at the University of Groningen, specializing in work and organizational psychology, prepared me for my current role as project manager at TCNN. Here I apply my knowledge in areas such as interviewing, behavioral influence and conflict management. It is particularly fascinating to apply these skills in cooperation with our various external project partners, where many interests are involved.

I am often called a true generalist, with an interest in virtually every subject. During the KONNECT traineeship, I was able to learn a lot from entrepreneurs and gained experience in departments within knowledge institutions that connect entrepreneurs with various research directions. Although my greatest passion lies in topics related to physical and mental health - an interest I developed during my time as a youth counselor and my many activities at the UMCG, among others - I always remain curious about new learning experiences, both inside and outside of these areas.

Outside of work, I love to stay active and experience culture; sitting still is not for me. Right now I am immersing myself in the world of triathlons and already dreaming about my next travel adventure.
