My name is Frederike Hummel, born and raised in Friesland and working as an investment manager at the Frisian Development Company (FOM).
After studying Finance and Fiscal Economics, I moved to the Randstad and worked at ING in the Netherlands and abroad. I was mainly involved in SME and Private Equity funding. After about eight years I switched to an impact investment fund in order to use my knowledge to realize not only financial returns, but also social returns. Since the beginning of this year (2025) I have returned to my beautiful home province of Fryslân, where the regional fund FOM plays an important role in supporting local businesses.
I look forward to working with inspiring entrepreneurs and making a positive impact in the region!
