Learn more about NewAge Industries
Maurice LeCompte

Originally a family business, NewAge Industries is now fully employee-owned. The Pennsylvania-based company produces high-quality hoses, fittings and clamps for various industries. They have been around for about 70 years and have been operating in Europe for about 25 years. The new facility in Coevorden will focus primarily on the biomedical sector for our customers in Europe and Asia.

What challenge were you trying to solve when you approached NOM?

We initially met with the NOM to get a sense of the region and visit property listings for our new manufacturing facility.

How have our services impacted your business?

We had an extensive list of locations prior to our trip to the Netherlands. The NOM suggested a different property in Coevorden that was perfect for us. They helped us with the power grid connection, incorporating our business in the Netherlands and even introduced us to Ben Bode, our new Director Of Manufacturing for our location in Coevorden.

Can you describe your experience working with NOM?

Our experience was very positive. We worked with Wubbo Everts and working with him has been nothing but a benefit since day one. We had hired a consulting firm to help us find a good location, but frankly, had I known about NOM beforehand, I don’t think we needed the consulting company.

Would you recommend our services to others and if so, what would you say?

I would definitely recommend their services. For a US company, I would highly recommend making an organization like the NOM your first stop, to make sure the whole process is as smooth as possible.
