Effective November 1, 2022, Anne-Wil Lucas will join NOM's management team. Lucas is currently director of Kennispark Twente and was previously director of Breakthrough Technologies at StartupDelta / TechLeap and member of Parliament with the portfolios Higher Education, Science and Innovation.
Anne-Wil Lucas: "I am very much looking forward to using my knowledge and experience for the Northern Netherlands: after all, as a northerner, that is where my heart lies. In recent years there has been a great development in the Northern Netherlands in terms of cluster formation and entrepreneurial climate. Think of the activity around Wetsus, the growth of the green chemistry cluster in Emmen and Eemshaven and the development of Campus Groningen. The Northern Netherlands can be proud of the way entrepreneurs contribute to a nicer, cleaner world. And as NOM, we can help those entrepreneurs grow further."
