Society / Increase your impact
'It's more fun to work for NOM than corporate. At NOM everything stands
stands for social impact. By providing venture capital for innovative
ideas you really feel that you are making an impact in the region.'

More sustainable, healthier, smarter
We use three fund criteria for our investments: more sustainable, healthier, smarter. We do not want the same old, but strive with intelligent entrepreneurs to find solutions to social and economic problems, and to drive these with investments. Think about testing whether an investment leads to negative climate impact or contributes to the modern, healthier living model, while at the same time keeping an eye on the economic value
keeping an eye on the economic value.
- More sustainable: how do we ensure a livable planet for future generations?
- Healthier: how do we keep an aging population healthy?
- Smarter: How do we become more productive using digital technology?
How do you envision the future? Are you thinking with us?
Inclusiveness = for everyone
Diversity is great, but without inclusion no progress. In our opinion, the benefits are visible in collaborations: with each other, and everyone's own background, sexuality, gender or ethnicity. This produces interesting conversations and insights. By embracing each other (and: the value therein), we discover a broader, more innovative body of thought that allows us to make more effective choices. That's modern investing: using differences, rather than fighting them, as an indispensable parameter for review and value creation.
In 2020, we committed to #FundRight. With this diversity statement, we declared our mission: to only invest in start-ups and scale-ups whose management team consists of at least 35% women. #Fundright wants better access to funding for women entrepreneurs and believes that this shift in opportunities will lead to an increase in the overall level of businesses in the Netherlands. And we can
only applaud. Since the signing of #FundRight, diversity has been a regular topic on our agenda, and we strive to develop in this as well.
