Who is this program for?
Have you recently raised funding from NOM, Future Tech Ventures, or another investor in the Northern Netherlands? We’re here to help you take the next step. Because securing an investment is just the beginning. Scaling up is a whole different game. You’ll be facing new challenges, tough decisions, high expectations and a lot of change.
The NOM Scale-Up Program is the only program of its kind in Northern Netherlands. It’s a tailormade acceleration program designed to give startups the best possible support during this critical phase. We focus on your company's specific needs and provide the knowledge, tools, and guidance to help you manage rapid growth successfully. This is a hands-on program built around execution. You’ll get a tailored growth plan, concrete objectives, and access to a selection of experts based on your specific needs.
What can you expect?
The program will run for six months and consists of three core components:
- Masterclasses: Practical insights and input from top experts on various topics
- 1-on-1 sessions: Hands-on support from senior domain experts to address your most critical growth challenges.
- Venture Partner: A personal coach who guides you through the process.
Tailored support
Even before the program begins, we conduct a comprehensive business analysis covering the market, your team, and your finances. We then develop a customized plan with concrete goals for the next 6 months. We’ll select suitable experts who will work with you to achieve these goals. This takes place on an ongoing basis outside of the masterclasses and helps you make rapid progress.
Master classes
- Kickoff: Why do so many startups fail and how can you beat the odds? Using the StartupFramework, you'll gain a clear structure and focus from day one, setting the foundation for the rest of the program.
- Product-Market Fit: How do you measure product-market fit, and how can you finetune it? We’ll look at three key metrics to assess where you stand today. You’ll leave with practical tools to refine your strategy and align your product more closely with market demand.
- Growing Team: Where does your team complement each other, and where are the gaps? Using team assessments and research-based frameworks, we’ll analyze your team’s strengths and dynamics. We’ll explore how to improve collaboration and determine when it’s time to make your next strategic hire.
- Scaling Up & Cash Is King: Who owns which outcomes, and how do you make sure goals actually get achieved? We’ll introduce accountability frameworks and take a close look at your cash flow to ensure your capital supports growth rather than slowing it down.
- Growth Engine: Which growth strategy best fits your business model? We’ll break down different growth engines and identify the approach most likely to drive traction for your company. You’ll learn how to build, optimize, and scale a repeatable system for attracting new customers or users.
- Graduation & Roadmap: After an intensive six months, we’ll wrap up the program with a joint celebration, drinks, and dinner. We’ll reflect on the progress you've made, celebrate key milestones, and, most importantly, look ahead. What concrete goals will guide the next phase of your company’s growth?
