Energy hubs on business parks are an indispensable link in the energy system of the future. At the same time, many energy hub initiatives are still at the beginning: the term is familiar, but the practice is complex.
From the Smart Energy Hubs program of the ROMs (ROM-Nederland), the ROMs will organize the three-day training course Energy Hub Development in 2026. In total, we will offer four three-day trainings in 2026. The first two trainings will take place in the spring of 2026. The training is intended for professionals who are working on the development of energy hubs and want to take faster steps from idea to realization in it.

Initiative and explanation
In 2026 only, ROM-Netherlands will offer four three-day Energy Hub Development training courses from the Smart Energy Hubs program. These trainings are intended for professionals involved in energy hub development. The knowledge and experience from the initial phase of energy hub development are thus widely shared. This contributes to capacity building within the energy hub ecosystem and accelerates the energy transition in the Netherlands. The training materials will be made available through the website at the end of the trainings.
