Max Six Dijkstra

To answer the first question right away: Six Dijkstra is the last name ;) Having grown up in Beetsterzwaag and later partly in Drachten, I moved to Groningen for my studies and eventually stayed there. Although I have lived in Groningen for many years now, my bond with Friesland is still strong. I can still often be found in the Abe Lenstra Stadium.

I studied International Business in Groningen, with a nice trip to South Korea, followed by the master's degree in Strategic Innovation Management. During and after my studies, I worked as a pension specialist. Although my own retirement is still far away, it is a very interesting world where a lot is happening and which is more relevant to every stage of life than you might think.

In my work at NOM I combine numbers with people. As an Export and Data Analyst I help to get a better picture of international opportunities, but also of barriers. At the same time I organize events and trade missions, both in the Netherlands and abroad. It is precisely this alternation between analyzing and organizing that makes my work fun.
