Trivec develops and builds machines for companies that apply coatings such as paint or varnish. Complementary techniques, such as operations before and/or after application, can also be part of a total solution. Complete production lines are supplied, but also individual machines that fit within an existing process. Customers are mainly in the parquet industry, furniture industry, carpentry and facade wood sector.

What question did you come to Ynbusiness with?

We were looking for support in professionalizing our export process. We had been operating internationally for some time and were growing steadily, but the issues became more complex. In 2019, we came into contact with Wessel de Vries, theme specialist international entrepreneurship at Ynbusiness. In the years that followed, he helped us tremendously.

A lot. I really see Ynbusiness as a front door to opportunities. Among other things, Wessel made us aware of the existence of the SIB scheme, a Dutch subsidy for SMEs to cover costs in internationalization, such as market research, coaching, trade fair participation and export training. He also put us in touch with the network of Netherlands Business Support Offices (NBSOs), Dutch government trade offices abroad, and we became members of Oranjewoud Export Academy. All this has accelerated our international growth.
