Siem Jansen bids farewell as director of NOM

The Board of Commissioners has taken note of the fact that the director of NOM, Siem Jansen, is going to leave his position as of June 1 and will take up a new challenge as program director of the National Program Groningen (NPG).

The Supervisory Board has worked with Siem Jansen to great satisfaction over the past 12 years. He has given form and substance to NOM, as a result of which NOM is well positioned both nationally and internationally. He has succeeded in establishing NOM as a well-oiled machine in the field of development, acquisitions and funding. It is partly to his credit that there is now a strong and reputable development company in the northern Netherlands that stimulates entrepreneurship and economic development.

Chairman of NOM's Supervisory Board Rudy Rabbinge said, "We want to thank Siem enormously for his commitment and results achieved and wish him every success with his new challenge at the National Program Groningen."

Siem Jansen, director of NV NOM: "For more than 12 years I have, together with all my colleagues, worked with great enthusiasm on the economic development of the North from the NOM. The club that is dear to my heart. At the same time, I am looking forward to the new challenge. I wish NOM and its employees many more successful years."

Meanwhile, the process of finding a suitable successor has begun.
