The Food Application Centre for Technology (FACT) is a fully equipped research and pilot environment at Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences (HVHL) where companies and knowledge institutions jointly conduct experiments and innovation projects in the field of food technology, with a clear focus on dairy and bakery. The FACT functions as an accessible meeting place where knowledge is developed and shared, and where new product and process concepts are created in close cooperation with (SME) companies. The facility is used for education as well as practical research, supports innovation for the northern business community, and also stimulates the development of start-ups.
