The fastest way to learn a new language is to speak it frequently. But finding a conversation partner in that language is not always easy. That's why DeepAvatar developed a virtual assistant where you can have a conversation in real time, called SpeakAvatar. The originally Armenian startup wants to continue developing and launching the iOS app here in the North.
What problem were you trying to solve WHEN YOU APPROACHED NOM?
We applied for the Startup Visa program because we wanted to settle in the Netherlands because of its well-developed startup ecosystem and investment climate. And the Startup Visa program gives us that opportunity to lay the foundation for that in the first year.
How have our services impacted your business?
What has our service brought you? 'The wonderful experience with NOM was the deciding factor for us to settle in the Northern Netherlands. They helped us through the entire process, from application to relocation. We are still in a very early stage as a company, but I think the network here will also definitely be very valuable in our ambitions to grow further.
