These qualities suit me well and fortunately I can often apply them in my position of Team Leader at NOM.
After studying Law in Groningen, I started working in banking. First in Rotterdam and after five years back in Groningen. I worked at ING Bank and at Rabobank. Always in corporate lending and especially in the northern Netherlands. Both for the SME segment and the large business segment.
In 2017, I made the conscious decision to switch to a regional development company where there is more room for offering tailor-made solutions to innovative entrepreneurs. I work as a Team Leader in the Investment department where we can assist both start-up companies and the somewhat more "mature" companies with a start-up or growth investment. We work in sector teams in which I am responsible for the sectors HTSM/innovation production companies, Water Technology, Maritime and ICT. This also includes the "Innovative SME" cluster, from which we can invest in innovative SMEs with acquisition and MBO/MMI processes.
Helping (young) entrepreneurs further develop their innovative ideas gives me a lot of energy. NOM has many products for this which we would like to use as optimally as possible for this purpose. Feel free to contact me for further sparring.
When I am not working for NOM, I try to spend my free time doing a lot of sports. A big hobby here is our sailing boat with which we can regularly be found on the Paterswoldse lake.
