Good afternoon Dave, can you introduce MyEmma and yourself?

MyEmma is a Document Management System, or actually more of a customer portal, where companies can securely and encryptedly share and find documents and have them approved and signed at the same time. The system provides all the capabilities to quickly communicate with customers easily and reliably. I came up with the idea for MyEmma in 2017, and about two years later was the official launch. In June 2022 June was acquired by SnelStart, a provider of smart billing and accounting solutions.

What question did you come to NOM with?

From the very beginning we had planned to engage NOM. Especially also because of NOM's network and good reputation as a sparring partner. However, the first contact dates back to the spring of 2020, when we had successfully applied for the Corona Bridge Loan, COL for short. After the momentum picked up a little later, in order to take MyEmma to the next level, we applied for growth capital. NOM even became a shareholder at the time.

How have our services impacted your business?

In any case, much more than just growth capital. For example, without the NOM, the acquisition by SnelStart would never have gone so smoothly. Or perhaps it would not even have gone through. They prepared me optimally for everything involved in such a process. Whether it concerns financial or legal aspects. All knowledge and expertise is available. In house or within NOM's broad network.

Can you describe your experience working with NOM?

The collaboration has been very good at every point. From the granting of the COL to the shareholding and the eventual sale of MyEmma. Whoever you dealt with at NOM, the contact was pleasant and we always got the support we needed.

Would you recommend our services to another person and what would you say?

Yes, without a doubt. If, in addition to funding, you want to benefit from a valuable network and a wealth of knowledge and experience, I would recommend engaging NOM right away.
