INDUSTR_I4.0

The small projects fund INDUSTR_I4.0 stimulates the digital transition within the manufacturing industry in the Dutch-German border region. This fund focuses specifically on SMEs that still need to take steps in the digital field, also called the 'peloton'. The goal? Accelerated adoption and implementation of digital technologies to promote innovations within SMEs.

Innovation and feasibility grant

Entrepreneurs can apply for subsidies for feasibility studies and innovation projects. A total of 10 million euros is available for SMEs who want to make the step to digitization. INDUSTR_I4.0 supports up to 80 cross-border innovation projects and 80 feasibility studies. The emphasis is on the practical application of technologies such as AI to improve business processes rather than developing completely new technologies.

Cooperation across borders

Within INDUSTR_I4.0, cross-border cooperation between Dutch and German partners is essential. The project is made possible by the Interreg VI program Germany-Netherlands and is co-financed by several Dutch provinces and German federal states. Oost NL is the lead partner and cooperates with partners such as NOM/TCNN, BOM, LIOF and various German organizations.

Project period and application opportunities

INDUSTR_I4.0 will run from 2024 to 2027. Within this period, about 200 SMEs in the border region are expected to be supported. Interested in participating? Check out the possibilities to apply for a grant and take the next step in your digital transition.
