Born in Groningen, partly raised in Drenthe and rooted in Fryslân - as far as you can be a part of the country, I am a Northern Dutchman. As a strategic advisor, I hope to be (and continue to be) a thinking doer. How can we better communicate our potential and work on our obstacles? Where are promising connections with The Hague, Brussels, the wider world?
My work-life balance is, frankly, subject to the same kind of search. Much of my free time is spent writing, reading, talking as in my finest working hours. A daughter, two sons and my wife keep me thinking, "What shall we do today?
