My name is Ytsen van der Meer. After studying Strategy & Innovation Management at the University of Groningen, I worked as a strategy consultant in Amsterdam for several years. I have now been working in the north of the Netherlands at NOM for three years. I started as an investment analyst and in that role I have analyzed many companies, markets and entrepreneurial teams in recent years. I now work as an investment manager and together with our team I invest in cool, innovative companies in the North of the Netherlands and build their start-ups and scale-ups together with entrepreneurs.
In addition to my job, I am completing an executive master's degree in M&A and Valuation. In my limited free time, I am athletic. I like to go to the gym and go running regularly. In addition, I read a lot of books.
