The AI Hub North Netherlands (AI Hub NNL), as part of the AI Coalition 4 NL and embedded in the European strategy around digitalization, will focus on the applications of AI within a number of prioritized sectors, in order to make the North Netherlands the testing ground of the Netherlands and Europe. The aim of the AI hub NNL is to create a portfolio of high-impact innovation projects (TRL 7) within a large number of relevant sectors.
These are high-impact public-private partnership (HIPP) projects, emerging from a chain approach. This approach contributes to the realistic embedding of the project, its sustainability and greater impact. In addition, from the HIPP projects the AI hub NNL fulfills a scouting role for new (unexpected) business opportunities.
