Substantial production extension for Zeolyst in Delfzijl
Substantial production extension for Zeolyst in Delfzijl
The company Zeolyst is set to substantially expand at Chemie Park in Delfzijl. The first stone for the new production location was laid on Wednesday. Zeolyst produces zeolites, which are used to clean car exhaust emissions. The company expansion will create eleven new jobs.
There is growing demand for zeoloites. The porous structure of these minerals enables them to function as a kind of sieve. They reduce the amount of nitrogen released in car exhaust emissions.
Zeolyst has been located in Delfzijl since 1990 and is currently employing 55 people. The company does not expect it to end with this expansion and is working on a new expansion plan to increase jobs at the location by half.
